Show Notes
You do not need another funnel. You do not need another shiny object. And you do not need to be chasing likes on social media all day, every day. Because guess what? Your clients are actually waiting for you. They already know you. They are on your email list. Yes, they are.
Put Yourself Out There
Even small email lists are gold, but many coaches neglect their email lists because they do not want to bother people. They do not want to annoy anyone. Often, we keep sending value over and over again, which is amazing, but people still do not know that you have something to offer.
Your potential clients are nodding along saying, “This is what I need.” But if you are not giving offers and letting people know that you have a new program or one-on-one spots available, they may go somewhere else. How often have you been chatting with someone only to find that your ideal client, the person you know and have been emailing or meeting for coffee, has hired another coach?
Why not you? They did not know you were available.
Make Them Remember You
This is a common mistake among coaches who are afraid to email their list or send offers because they do not want to sound salesy. They do not want to be annoying. We are all busy, and sometimes we see an email and think, “Yes, I need to do that,” but then forget. Then another email lands from someone else, and they get the client instead.
We all do it. That is why you need to be in your audience’s inbox regularly, sharing value and offers. If people are not interested, they will unsubscribe, which is actually a good thing. It keeps your list clean and helps improve your open rates. You only want to email people who care about your work and might buy your services.
So do not worry about unsubscribes. You must offer something. Building rapport and giving value are important, but you are running a business, and business means sales. Be clear about your offer, and sometimes just send a direct sales email.
A straight sales email can be the reminder someone needs. People often do not read all the way to the bottom of an email, so try putting key points at the top and bottom.
Encourage Clients
Reframe how you see sales. You are serving. When you are the one looking for help, you appreciate finding the right offer at the right time. That is what your audience feels when your email lands perfectly in their inbox. Send your invitations naturally and authentically. There is no point following someone else’s script. Do it your way.
Think about Apple fans who line up for new products. They do not always need the latest iPhone, but they love the brand and the experience. That is good customer service and you can create that same anticipation and trust.
So, keep sending clear calls to action. Send with good energy. If you feel wobbly when writing your email, your readers will feel it too. Take a moment, have a tea or coffee, and send it with love. You are serving your clients, and they need to hear from you.
